” Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.”

My useful tips
To the new parents
In the cradle, when the baby sleeps, keep him on his side or on his back, this position is the most suitable for the infant because it gives him a feeling of warmth and security. Avoid that the head is always rotated on the same side.
General advice (0-14 years)
Colic: are pains in the tummy that the infant can present in the first 3 months and which occur at regular times during the day regardless of the type of food introduced.
Practical advice: rotational massage to the tummy by bending the legs upwards…

My recent studies
Since 2020, I have been dedicating my studies to trying to understand why we get sick. Our body speaks to us through symptoms, and we must decode these symptoms and understand why they occur. Our body tries to tell us where it is weak and what psycho-emotional trauma has created the destabilisation that causes the symptom we then call illness.
This poem explains it well.
“The old healer said to the soul:
It is not your back that hurts, but the burden you carry.
It is not your eyes that hurt, but the injustice you see.
It is not your head that hurts, but your thoughts.
It is not your throat, but that which you dare not tell.
It is not your belly, but your soul that cannot digest what is happening around you.
It is not your liver that hurts, but the anger inside.
It is not your heart that hurts, but love.
And it is love itself,
which can heal all this pain, the most powerful medicine.”
